LJ is 6 months! YAY!. Oh my where does the time go. It seems just yesterday I was bringing the little guy home. Now he is scooching all over the place and for some reason always grabbing on my leg. I'm writing this post with him asleep in my arms. He has become very independent and vocal. I promise his first "word" was momma but he has recently been saying dada over and over. No matter how much I tell him momma he just wants to say dada. Dada is enjoying it though and I owe him $50.
He eats like a grown man and therefore has grown man like poops. This is the part of cloth diapering that I don't like. I'm still waiting on hubby to make me that sprayer. I make all of what LJ is eating now and his favorite food honestly depends on his mood. He does enjoy avocado the most. I think apples would be second.
Even more exciting his two bottom teeth have finally broken through the gum. You don't know how crazy it was making me to see them right there underneath the gum but not poking out. Teething hasn't been to bad because he wears amber teething jewelry. Ill get into that another time right now I'm going to let LJ have is moment in the spotlight.
6 months have gone by so fast my head is spinning. I keep thinking to myself that 6 more months he is going to be a year old. I want to keep him my little guy forever. But alas they all must grow up. Enjoy your little ones because time escapes us to fast.

Sunbaby Diaper review.
Here is my first review! YAY let's celebrate this monumental occassion with a welcome(you thought I was going to do a giveaway huh. Not yet I'm just getting started geesh).
Sunbaby diapers are one of those diapers with a cult like following. The creative mind and owner behind Sunbaby diapers is Sunpei. They are pocket diapers with some of the cutest prints. The Sunbaby website states "A favorite for all moms who cloth diaper on a budget! Our pocket style diapers are not only budget friendly, but also easy to use, great looking and one of the best on the market! If you have always wanted to cloth diaper, but didn’t want to invest hundreds of dollars, you don’t have to wait any longer. With our one size diapers you can cloth diaper from birth to potty training for as little as $60. " So lets get to the meat. What are they made of?

The Meats
Sunbaby diapers have a PUL outer layer with a microfleece inner layer that is uber soft(yes uber). The pocket at the back of the diaper features a flap to keep the insert in and from rubbing baby's bum. Speaking of the insert, the diapers come with one microfiber insert.Price
Sunbaby diapers pride themselves on being affordable, adorable and functional. Packages are offered through the website. You can get 12 diapers with inserts for $60 shipped. Yep that is $60 for 12 diapers and shipping from China is included. Great deal right! Even better you can get 24 diapers with inserts for $108.
So now that you know the cost and what it is made of you. You are probably wondering does it work? I mean how can something that cheap and cute really work? Well ladies and possibly gents, it depends on who you ask.
My POV
So as you all know these diapers were my first cloth diaper purchase. I bought the 12 for $60 package. Shipping was great as well as customer service(I'm needy). So they came and I prepped them. Washed once and dried on low to seal PUL. Then they were slapped onto the babys bum. They held up as far as pee. I change my baby every 2-3 hours. The microfleece is so silky soft that it's yummy. The prints were ADORABLE. Sounds great right? Well here was my problem. I bought the Sunbaby 4.0 batch that had the frog print. The elastic was way to tight for my liking. They left deep red marks and were just overall tight fitting. I sold all 12.
So Sunpei releases new prints. I didn't care. I figured oh well same diaper that won't fit. I then read where people are saying that they are much bigger. I buy a cute Hexagon print off one of the Facebook b/s/t pages. As soon as it comes I rip open the bag excited to see this awesome new change all the Sunbaby fans are talking about. At first glance it is about the same size as my Alvas(they run big). I get excited but gotta wash first. Good thing I hadn't done laundry yet. So go through wash routine blah blah blah. As Soon as it is dry, the Sunbaby is the first to go on. YES success! It fits perfectly. So in goes my order for her recent print release. These prints are just as cute. Some so cute they have already sold out. Hopefully she will be keeping the same large pattern with looser elastic. If not, off to the auction pages they go.

How it All Began
I feel like we should get to know each other better. Ill start from the begging. So I was born......skip ahead to August 2010. This is when I found out I was pregnant and this is when the internet became one of my bff. I was sick most of my pregnancy so I stayed in bed doing tons of research(shopping).
In December I joined Babycenter.com. This is where I found cloth diapers. Initially I thought about grandmas cloth diapers. Then I was given site links. Oh no. Why did they do this to me? I immediately told my husband "Dude we gotta cloth diaper. It's cute and saves us money!" Never happened :(
Fast Forward to my son being born. He had sensitive skin to certain bodywashes so we switched to California Baby super sensitive wash. By the time he was 3 months he was constantly getting rashes on his bum no matter how often I changed him. He was getting red and irritated. I put my foot down and told D(my hubs) that I don't care what he says, we are making the switch. Best decision EVER. I tried covers a prefolds with snappis at first. Dude when I say fail I mean pee leaking out like a broken faucet type of fail. I was ready to quit. Then I got on ebay and discovered some cheap diapers. My research led me to find that the ones I were looking at were not that great. Some how along the way I found sunbaby diapers.I'll be giving a detailed review later. After that I found a co op for Alvababy diapers(review coming for these too). The rest is history. I really can't go through the list. I know I'm a lazy blogger. I haven't been at it long but I'd like to think I know a thing or two by now. Ill let you all in on my secrets.

Hello: First post
Hello all or no one. After all this is my first post and I have no followers as of this exact moment.
Everyone is a blogger now. I always thought bloggers were like a secret society of cool unknown people who dwell in some underground lair in the sewers but I had a posh space cut out for them. Then I became a mom and google became my best friend. I looked up everything from "Is baby baby's poop normal?" to "When will my baby crawl and stop scooting on the floor like a snake?" To my shock and awe, many of my answers were found in blogs. What's even crazier is these answers were from moms with blogs (gasp).
I've learned a few tips and tricks of my own in my short 6 months as a mom but I'd like to think they are pretty nifty tips and such.
So I cloth diaper as well. It's super fun and super addicting. There's like a cult following for a few diapers. I haven't tried them all but I'm working on it(addict remember). I will be reviewing the ones I try to so stick around for my point of view(as if there aren't enough).
